Hi, my name is Jantien! I am a graphic designer & creative based between Belgium and Austria. I create tactile and visual narratives through tufting, graphic design and illustration.

My creative journey was shaped by a solo trip across Europe — a time of exploration, discovery and immersion in everyday life. Capturing fleeting moments through street photography, translating the energy of the places I visited into illustrations and soundscapes.

Each project is a reflection of those experiences: textures, lines, and tones inspired by the people, architecture, and atmosphere I encountered. From the tactile patterns of a cobbled street to the rhythm of
a distant melody, my work seeks to translate the sensory richness of travel into visual and auditory expression.

Through tufting, graphic design, illustration, and creative experimentation, I transform these personal encounters into pieces that invite the viewer to feel the depth, design, and narrative of the journey themselves. My aim is to convey simplicity and nostalgia with my art style, using minimalistic designs and limited abstract colour palette.
